Will China Become the No. 1 Superpower?

China is catching up in technology.There technology is passing or has allready passed the U.S. Experts say  that China will bacome the new world power by mid century.To become a world power there are many steps to take and many requirements.First of all, a world power must have political,economic,military, and cultural infuence over the entire world.China doesnt have any of those requirements yet but are very close to to making them.The U.S. may be the only country holding China back.China is trying everything to not start any teouble with the US. China definitely has the man power and so does india.India is also very close behind china as to becoing a world power but only because they have the man power.If you think china will become a world power by midcentury please post.I am interested to know everybodys opinion on this matter.
